Duties
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management.
- Supervise and train team members to ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and safety protocols.
- Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure smooth shift transitions to maximize efficiency.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management and ordering using POS systems.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within a full service restaurant environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management.
- Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and budgeting principles within the food industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
