Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with menu planning and daily food preparation tasks to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld
- Support the culinary team in cooking, plating, and serving food efficiently during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation practices at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and serving practices is a plus
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
