www.directintegrativecare.com, a membership-based integrative and functional telemedicine practice led by Yoon Hang "John" Kim, MD, MPH, is seeking a Medical Assistant and/or certified Health Coach for a part-time, fully remote growth position (approximately 8–16 hours per week, W-2, with a growth-tied bonus as the practice expands). The practice serves clients across six states and is intentionally capped in size to protect quality of care, with clinical focus areas including low-dose naltrexone therapy, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, MCAS, mold-related illness, and integrative oncology. This role is the warm, human voice of the practice between physician visits: high-touch client onboarding and check-ins, health coaching aligned with the physician's care plan, care logistics with pharmacies and labs, pre- and post-visit support, and help building group programs and educational offerings.
The ideal candidate holds CMA/RMA certification and/or board certification in health and wellness coaching (NBC-HWC preferred), has experience or strong interest in integrative and functional medicine, communicates with genuine warmth in writing and on video, and brings a builder's mindset — this position is designed to grow in scope, hours, and compensation as the practice scales.
