Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers , refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or other specialized equipment to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and route details in accordance with DOT requirements
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Skills
- Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks with a strong knowledge of route driving
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and handling refrigerated trailers or flatbed loads
- Familiarity with freight handling including load & unload procedures using forklifts or other equipment
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and team members

Pay: $2,765.18 - $14,000.00 per week
