Responsible for performing experiments investigating cell signaling in cancer biology research. Works with the research team to perform cellular biology assays and animal models of breast cancer. Necessary experiments include those involving molecular biology and Cell Biology, in adherence with the Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) in place. Assists with supplies, maintaining equipment, and general laboratory maintenance.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's degree and one year of directly related experience
Preferred Qualification:
Two years of work experience with cellular and molecular techniques such as immunoblot, cell culture and cytotoxicity assays, ELISA and flow cytometry assays and with molecular biology techniques including RNA extraction, and real time PCR.
Experience with animal studies including xenograft tumor models.
Familiarity with basic computational tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
