What You'll Do
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
- Accurately enter prescription information and process insurance claims
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Manage inventory, receive orders, and restock medications and supplies
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist patients with questions regarding prescriptions and medication pick-up
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and fellow team members to maintain an efficient workflow
- Support medication synchronization and other patient care services
Qualifications
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred, but not required
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
