Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
- Operate machinery including welding equipment, machining tools, and fabrication stations to support production needs.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process, utilizing blueprint reading skills and precision measurement tools to verify specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety standards; handle warehouse tasks including material handling with forklifts when necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential issues in the assembly line and suggesting solutions.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations involving welding, soldering, machining, or use of power tools.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, soldering, machining, and blueprint interpretation.
- Warehouse experience or forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control during assembly processes.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
