Summary
As a Laundry Attendant at Cedar Hill Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. This position is essential to our commitment to quality service and care, ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered to the highest standards.
This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry level employment in Healthcare or Looking to be part of a Healthcare environment in a non-clinical position. In this position you will join a dedicated team who is focused on providing quality care in a family focused environment.
This position has a starting pay rate of $12.50 an hour
This is a PRN opportunity which is Five (5) 8-hour shifts a week for a 4-6 weeks. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

Responsibilities
-
Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.

Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols while handling laundry.

Collaborate with staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments.

Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies.
Requirements
-
Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Good organizational skills and time management abilities.
