Job Summary
We're looking for an IN- Office seasoned electrical professional
- Former Electrician, Lead Electrician (Master or Journeyman), Foreman, General Foreman, or Superintendent. Someone who is retired or retiring, who knows the trade inside and out and is ready to take that knowledge off the jobsite and into a critical role that helps build the next generation of skilled electricians.
As an Electrical Screening Specialist you'll be responsible for evaluating, qualifying, mentoring, and helping develop electricians for placement on commercial and industrial projects. This is more than a recruiting position—it's an opportunity to use your field experience to identify top talent, teach best practices, and ensure our clients receive skilled, job-ready electricians.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-person electrical assessments and technical interviews.
- Evaluate electricians on real-world trade knowledge and experience.
- Assess skills including:
- Conduit bending
- Terminations
- Blueprint and print reading
- Motor controls
- Troubleshooting
- Commercial and industrial installations
- Verify licenses, certifications, OSHA credentials, and work eligibility.
- Evaluate safety awareness, NEC knowledge, and proper tool usage.
- Review project experience including:
- Commercial construction
- Industrial facilities
- Manufacturing plants
- Data centers
- New construction and renovations
- Provide guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to candidates.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for development.
- Recommend qualified electricians to recruiters and hiring managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with electricians throughout their careers.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
- Deep understanding of:
- Conduit systems
- Switchgear
- Panels
- Transformers
- Motors and controls
- Electrical prints and schematics
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, NEC requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ability to quickly identify skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious electricians.
- Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring and helping others succeed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
