We are looking for an energetic, compassionate team member to join our Life Enrichment team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with group activities throughout the day.
- Make daily announcements to keep residents abreast of planned activities and schedule changes as requested by or in the absence of the Director of Life Enrichment; May also make announcements before each activity begins.
- Actively promote resident participation in activities.
- Actively promote the community by making guests feel welcome.
- Arrange and/or participate in special groups and activities such as coffee, news, story hour, games, music, and pet visitation.
- Decorate common areas of community using seasonal themes.
- Create a bulletin board with monthly activities, birthdays, and/or other resident highlights.
- Assist with recordkeeping as requested by Director of Life Enrichment.
- Keep storage area clean, neat, and organized.
- Notify Director of Life Enrichment immediately of noticeable differences in resident behavior.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment.
- Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by Executive Director.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident, community, employee, and company information.
- Maintain working knowledge of fire and disaster plans and responsibilities under emergency conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
