About Teamwork Therapies
Teamwork Therapies is a pediatric-focused therapy practice providing Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, and Early Intervention services to children with developmental, sensory, communication, and motor challenges.
We currently operate clinic locations in Pleasanton, Tracy, and Stockton, California, and we are expanding our Washington pediatric therapy presence across ESIT / early intervention, school-based, home/community-based, teletherapy-supported, and future clinic-based services. In Washington, we are in the process of building local clinical capacity and developing physical locations in Tacoma, Puyallup, and Olympia.
About the Role
Teamwork Therapies is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Recruitment Specialist to support our Washington pediatric therapy hiring efforts. This is a remote role based in Washington State.
This role is ideal for someone with strong recruiting experience in healthcare, pediatric therapy, behavioral health, education, school staffing, or clinical services. The Senior Recruitment Specialist will help build a pipeline of qualified Washington clinicians and support full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles, including therapists, assistants, special education professionals, administrative staff, and support roles.
The immediate recruiting focus will include SLPs, SLPAs, OTs, COTAs, PTs, and related pediatric therapy professionals for school placements, ESIT / early intervention, home/community-based services, teletherapy-supported roles, and future clinic-based opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for Washington clinical and non-clinical roles, including SLPs, SLPAs, OTs, COTAs, PTs, Special Education Teachers, administrative staff, and support roles.
- Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified pediatric therapy, healthcare, school-based, and early intervention candidates.
- Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, healthcare-specific platforms, professional networks, job boards, university programs, referrals, and outreach campaigns.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines across Washington, including priority regions such as Tacoma, Puyallup, Olympia, Vancouver/Longview, Othello, Cowlitz & Wahkiakum Counties, and other service areas as needs evolve.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone screens, assess candidate fit, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Create and optimize job postings for clinical, school-based, ESIT / early intervention, home/community-based, teletherapy, and administrative roles.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Track candidate activity, recruitment metrics, follow-ups, credential status, licensure status, and hiring outcomes.
- Partner with leadership to understand staffing needs, priority roles, service areas, and hard-to-fill positions.
- Support onboarding coordination and credentialing handoff for new hires.
- Assist with HR-related tasks such as employee documentation, compliance support, candidate records, and recruitment reporting.
- Maintain awareness of Washington credentialing, licensing, and compliance requirements for pediatric therapy roles.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR experience.
- Experience recruiting for healthcare, pediatric therapy, behavioral health, education, school-based services, or clinical roles strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with therapy roles such as Speech-Language Pathologists, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapists, and related positions.
- Understanding of pediatric therapy, school-based services, ESIT / early intervention, or healthcare staffing preferred.
- Strong interviewing, screening, and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, job boards, spreadsheets, and recruitment tracking tools.
- Must be based in Washington State.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for pediatric therapy clinics, school-based therapy, early intervention, behavioral health, education, or similar healthcare organizations.
- Knowledge of Washington healthcare credentialing, professional licensing, school-based staffing, or ESIT / early intervention requirements.
- Experience building pipelines for hard-to-fill clinical roles.
- Experience recruiting in rural or underserved areas.
- Familiarity with WA clinician sourcing channels, universities, school districts, and therapy networks.
- Experience coaching hiring managers on interviewing, candidate evaluation, and inclusive hiring practices.
