Job description:
Colorado Occupational Medical Partners is seeking a full-time medical assistant to join our team. As a medical assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care and management, organization and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document basic medical history.
- Administrative/clerical duties including answering phones, checking patients in/out, scheduling, etc.
- Will perform drug and breath alcohol testing in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Will perform a variety of components to physical exams such as venipuncture, immunizations/injections, spirometry, and audio/vision screenings.
- Report results in a timely manner
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers.
- Must be a team player and be willing to assume additional duties as needed.
- Experience in occupational medicine is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
