Responsibilities:
- Prepare and create a variety of ice cream flavors and desserts
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in taste and quality
- Operate ice cream machines and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving customers
- Decorate ice cream cakes and other specialty desserts as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with baking techniques is a plus
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with the owner
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
