Job Summary
As Shipping Clerk specializing in receiving inspections, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming aerospace components and materials meet the required quality and safety standards. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our aerospace manufacturing process and guaranteeing the satisfaction of our customers. You will be responsible for packaging and unpackaging a variety of sensitive products and materials. In addition, the position is required to assist with other miscellaneous tasks related to the movement of material within the company and inventory control.

Responsibilities

- Pack and unpack shipments and of aerospace components, materials, and products.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all items to ensure they meet established quality and safety standards.
- Verify quantities and inspect for any visible damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record inspection results and maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
- Create and maintain organized, up-to-date records of received materials and components.
- Basic computer skills
- Subject to pre-hire, random, and for cause drug and alcohol testing under DOT and FAA regulations.
- Acceptable background check for required matters
- US Persons as defined in 22CFR 120.15 for required matters.
Partial Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Working conditions will most often include a warehouse-type environment, which may at times be loud and/or busy.
- Will be required to stand for long periods of time.
- Lifting of up to 50 pounds, pushing and/or pulling may be required.
- Must be able to quickly move from one department and building to another to deliver and pickup Items.
- Previous experience in order processing, materials handling and distribution is preferred
