Assistant Family Teacher (Youth Care Worker)
Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time | Afternoon, evening, weekend.

King’s Home, a Christ-centered ministry, has been serving youth, women, and children for over 40 years — providing refuge, hope, and help to those overcoming abuse, neglect, abandonment, and homelessness. We are currently seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced individuals to join our team as Assistant Family Teachers in our youth group homes. The working hours for this position are 2:30pm-10:30pm during the week with rotating weekend shifts. Must be available to work variable shifts when children are out of school in the summer and during holiday breaks.
What You’ll Do
As an Assistant Family Teacher, you will play a key role in providing structure, guidance, and care to youth in DHR custody through no fault of their own. This is a meaningful opportunity to impact lives every day by:

- Teaching daily living and life skills to help youth grow in independence
- Supporting individualized care and behavior management plans
- Providing safe and reliable transportation as needed

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking candidates who are:
- Passionate about helping youth heal and thrive
- Responsible, dependable, and professional in their interactions
- Experienced in residential care, education, or social services (preferred)
- 21 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Possessing a clear driving record (no speeding tickets 15+ mph over limit) and clear criminal background
