Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables or handling basic food items when needed
- Support the kitchen team by managing waste disposal and recycling procedures promptly and responsibly
- Ensure all dishes are returned to the appropriate storage areas in a timely manner to facilitate smooth kitchen operations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards across all cleaning activities
- Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
- Experience working in banquet settings, catering events, or hotel kitchens can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations and guest service
