Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Escrow Assistant to join our title services team. In this vital role, you will support the escrow process by coordinating with clients, real estate agents, lenders and our internal team to ensure smooth transaction flow from the receipt of the sales contract or title request to the day of closing. Duties
- Opening and processing contracts and title requests including account set up, the receipt of earnest money and notifying all parties that our processes have begun.
- Reviewing the title commitment once it is received, and letting all parties know about any liens, discrepancies in ownership vesting, unpaid property taxes, or other outstanding issues that need addressing before the property can be closed.
- Ordering loan payoffs, surveys, home warranties as per instructions on the contract and written authorization from the necessary party.
- Effectively communicating by email or phone call updates any open issues as needed.
- Coordinating all aspects of the files to ensure the contract closing date is met, and scheduling all parties for closing once file is ready.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries related to escrow accounts while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients alike.
Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
