Description:
Position Summary: The Accounting Manager manages members of the Accounting team and has periodic accounting responsibilities and owns financial statement preparation for assigned facilities. As a member of the accounting team at Cascadia, you will have the opportunity to help shape processes and procedures of a fast-growing company.
Essential Functions:

Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Owns the preparation of monthly financial statements.

Reviews journal entries and financial statements of other staff.

Performs technical accounting research on complex accounting issues and implements as necessary.

Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.

May manage expense reporting, corporate credit card reconciliations, or recurring monthly

May manage facility fixed assets and personal property reporting.

Prepares General Ledger reconciliations.

Files required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.

Provides accounting support to various stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.

Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities.

Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
Experience:

5 years of accounting experience preferred.

Public Accounting experience preferred.

Healthcare experience preferred.
-
CPA license preferred.

Understanding of, and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
