In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes, supporting order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse
- Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and perform stock replenishment tasks to maintain optimal warehouse organization
- Prepare shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly for shipping & receiving processes
- Use basic math skills to verify quantities, calculate weights, and ensure proper documentation of inventory movements
- Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the warehouse environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or in logistics is highly preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 is advantageous
- Ability to operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for order picking & packing accuracy
- Basic math proficiency for inventory counts and documentation purposes
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
