The Life Enrichment Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of activities, events, and programs designed to enhance the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of residents in our Assisted Living and Independent Living communities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thinking creatively, staying organized, and creating memorable experiences.
Assist with planning and facilitating daily activities and special events
Encourage resident participation and engagement
Lead small group and one-on-one activities
Assist with holiday celebrations, outings, entertainment, and community events
Help decorate and prepare spaces for activities and special occasions
Build positive relationships with residents and their families
Support resident interests, hobbies, and personal goals
Assist with transportation and resident escorts as needed
Document participation and maintain activity records
Work collaboratively with other departments to create exceptional resident experiences
Positive, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compassion for older adults and a desire to serve others
Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Creativity and willingness to bring new ideas to the community
Previous experience in activities, recreation, hospitality, customer service, education, childcare, event planning, or senior living is a plus
