Team Member Position Overview
In this role, you will work under the direction of a team lead to carry out various lawn care, landscaping, and enhancement tasks. Some prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, and enhancement is preferred but on the job training with be provided.
Primary Functions (Landscaping):
- Hardscape installation
- Patios, pathways, steps, and retaining walls
- Fencing
- Drip irrigation
- Planting
- Drainage
- Lighting installation
- Water features
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow basic directions and instructions administered by the team leader
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Dependable, reliable, and punctual
- Ability to report and communicate any property damage or issues, injuries, accidents, or equipment damage/malfunction to your team lead, immediately
- Ability to understand and comply with all company policies and procedures including safety, emergency, quality, and equipment care and maintenance
- Ability to learn how to and safely operate basic landscaping equipment
- Positive attitude and ability to quickly learn landscaping functions and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
- 2+ year experience in a professional landscaping
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and techniques
- An interest in learning and growing your skill set to advance within the company
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to partake in extended periods of physical activity including bending, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling & squatting
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work around bees, poisonous plants, pollen, and other environmental hazards
- Must have full range of motion in upper body and be able to reach over ones head
