Forklift Operator 1st shift Plant 1 (Full Time)
Location: Denver, NC

1st shift hours: 5:00am to 3:30pm M-TH with mandatory overtime on Fridays and Saturday based on a business need.
Pay: $19.21 to $20.59

Job Summary
Perform various duties including: operation of forklift vehicle, transporting of primarily posts, tubes, welded uprights and other Husky products from and to various operations in the plant.
Essential Job Requirements
- Forklift experience/Certification
- Read a ruler/tape Measure
- Manufacturing experience preferred
Essential Job Functions:
- Work from established procedures and practices, written and/or verbal instructions.
- Inspect forklift vehicle on a daily basis; use and complete Inspection Sheet. Report malfunctioning, problems to proper supervisor.
- Transport primarily in-process materials from and to various production operations; from roll forming area to holding areas, to welding areas.
- Able to measure material accurately.
- Perform forklift duties as specially requested by authorizes personnel to such as; expedite materials.
- Operate forklift vehicle in a safe manner following in-plant certification. Obey all safety rules, regulations and practices in its operation.
- Maintain vehicle in a clean condition.
- Must be able to lift large loads
- Must have Forklift Certification/License.
Perform other similar duties as assigned or instructed by supervisor.
