Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly customer service throughout their visit
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Assist with food and beverage preparation, including serving drinks and light meal assembly when needed
- Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all front-of-house areas
- Support host/hostess duties by managing reservations, seating arrangements, and phone etiquette
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on in-person customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to perform basic math for order processing and cash handling tasks
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
