Sr Cloud Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
Client is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking GCP Cloud Engineer to join our Federal IT team in Washington, DC. In this hands-on role, you’ll help architect, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and mission-critical cloud solutions in support of a high-impact federal customer.
Must Have Qualifications:
- 4+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 2 years working in GCP environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, and BigQuery.
- Experience building infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
- Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience supporting Agile/Scrum development environments.
Nice to Haves:
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience supporting Federal Government programs and ATO processes.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Go
