The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for managing company equipment by maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring equipment locations through GPS tracking systems, maintaining utilization records for weekly billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track, monitor, and maintain inventory of company equipment and assets.
- Monitor equipment locations using GPS tracking systems and investigate location discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment assignments, movement, and monitoring on-rent/off-rent dates.
- Receive and document equipment transfers in company software.
- Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Process weekly equipment billings.
- Generate reports on equipment utilization, GPS tracking activity, inventory, and asset status.
- Respond to lost, stolen, or misplaced equipment by using GPS tracking tools and coordinating recovery efforts.
- Collaborate with field personnel to ensure equipment locations and the utilization hours are accurate for weekly billing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
- Experience in equipment rental, equipment tracking, logistics, and asset management.
- Experience using GPS or an asset tracking software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
