Upbeet Nutrition is interested in hiring a Licensed Dietitian for online nutrition consultation. You must be licensed or able to become licensed in Texas for consideration. This position is remote, and looking to expand in the future in Dallas, TX.
We are looking for a part-time Registered Dietitian to start in June of 2026. Insurance credentialing for this role is required, it usually takes 3-6 months. We desire at least 10-20 hours per week, with the ability of more determined by demand.
Why Us? The candidate creates their own weekly availability for scheduling, evening/weekend hours are a plus. Candidate earns $53-60 per hour.
Candidate to work as a independent contractor in Texas to provide virtual visits to weight-loss, bariatric patients, diabetes, GI disorders, HTN, HLD, CVD, and more. Looking for candidates with multiple skill sets, including CDE and CDCES and Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain weekly availability to provide nutritional counseling services to individuals virtually
- Independently schedule follow-up sessions.
- Maintain/improve the nutritional status of patients by assessing nutritional risk, evaluating nutritional requirements, developing care plans, providing nutrition education, and evaluating patient nutritional outcomes
- Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.'
- Maintain accurate records of all patient interaction and to the requirements of each physician.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and abilities to interpret clinical data obtained from medical records
- Provide diet education and MNT to patients
- Assist in the development, design and improvement of patient education materials for the company.
- Collaborate with the physician regarding diet prescriptions, clinical recommendations, and the implementation of care plans
- Experience in weightloss/Bariatrics is a plus, additional training is provided
- Dietitian licensed in Texas preferred
- One weekend day a month to offer to patients.

Credentials
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Association.
- Completion of a supervised practice internship program that has been accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.
- Flexible and easily adaptable to a changing environment
Compensation
- Pay rate starts $53-60 per hour and commensurate with experience
- Total hours per week are flexible and determined by demand, to start with 10-15 hours per week and ability to expand as demand expands.
- Candidate to shadow for training, initial hours to be limited and to increase as demand increases.
