Chomp Kitchen and Drinks is an award winning burger, sandwich, and craft beer restaurant with locations in Newport, Warren and Providence.
Chomp Kitchen and Drinks is seeking skilled line cooks to add to our culinary team. Prior experience working in a high volume, fast paced kitchen as well as cooking burgers to temperature on a griddle is preferred. Cooking in a scratch kitchen is looked upon favorably. However the right attitude and work ethic can overcome any lack of experience!
What You Bring to the Table
- Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service. Consistently execute them with efficiency and grace while multitasking and maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service
- Demonstrate knowledge of all menu items (ingredients, spec, build)
- Act as part of the team to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the kitchen both before, during and after service
- Maintain a good working relationship with others by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working atmosphere
