Position: Journeyman Technician
Job Description:
This is a full-time Union position. In accordance with dealer and factory quality standard, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems, that include the following:

Engine

Transmission
-
electrical steering
-
suspension
-
brakes
-
air conditioning
-
Enjoy working in the comforts of a climate-controlled shop
Primary duties will consist of but not limited to:
- Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Responsible for participating and keeping up with manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events
- Understands, keeps updated on and complies with Federal, State and Local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner and wears appropriate safety equipment
- Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean
- Keeps shop areas neat and clean.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with working on all types of vehicles
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current, valid Driver's License with driving record that meets insurance company standards
- Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
