Logistics Operations Professional — LPG Trucking
We're a growing midstream trucking company running 24/7 LPG logistics across multiple regions, and we're adding to our operations team. We have flexibility on the exact role — depending on your experience and strengths, this could land on the dispatch side or the operations support/admin side.
The work could include:
- Dispatching and scheduling LPG truck loads across a regional operation
- Ticket review and reconciliation, billing support, and data entry in our TMS — accuracy matters here
- Tracking driver load status check-ins
- Communicating with drivers, plant contacts, and customers
- Solving problems in real time: driver call-offs, plant delays, rejected loads, equipment issues
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years in logistics, dispatch, or operations admin — oilfield or midstream background is a big plus
- Familiar with HOS rules, ELD logs, and DOT compliance — you know what a violation looks like before it happens
- Comfortable working in a TMS and keeping multiple systems in sync — when the dispatch board, the TMS, and the GPS don't match, you're the kind of person who notices and fixes it
- Strong with Google Sheets and quick to pick up new software (Slack, GPS/ELD platforms, phone systems). You don't need to be a programmer, but you can't be scared of a spreadsheet
- Detail-oriented on paperwork — run tickets, BOLs, billing data. Small errors turn into big billing problems in this business
- A clear communicator on the phone and in writing — you'll talk to drivers, plant operators, and customers all day, and how you say it matters as much as what you say
- Calm under pressure when three things go wrong at once — a driver calls off, a plant goes down, and a customer wants an ETA, all in the same ten minutes
- Organized enough to track a moving schedule: driver credentials, load statuses, appointment times, and follow-ups that can't fall through the cracks
- Reliable. This is a 24/7 operation with real shift handoffs — your team depends on you showing up and finishing what you start
