Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various systems including electrical, mechanical, and powertrain components.
- Repair and maintain vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Replace or repair vehicle components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly for maintenance needs, including diesel engine repairs, vehicle transmission system repairs, and suspension system adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, estimated timeframes, and maintenance advice while providing excellent customer service,Qualifications
- Service shop experience as an auto technician or mechanic with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams interpretation, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle suspension system repair.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals; familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software to perform precise repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid certification in automotive repair (such as ASE certification) is preferred; experience with diesel engines is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
