Champions is expanding near Atascadero! Our Site Director will help open, direct and lead our new after school program at:
- Creston Elementary School - 5105 O'Donovan Rd. Creston CA 93432
This is a full-time, year-round position starting now.
- Full time - 40 hours/week
- $26-27/hr
If you have hands-on experience in a licensed school-age setting as a lead teacher, assistant director, or similar role, and are ready to make an impact as a program leader, this position is for you.
As Site Director, you'll oversee daily operations, lead a team of educators, and create an environment where kids in grades K–6 thrive before and after school.
This position requires:
- 48 units of college education in any topic
- 1+ year of leadership experience
- Pass a Background check
- AND A genuine love for kids
Program Hours
- School Year After School: 2:50–6:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
- Weekends OFF
Program hours above are fixed. In addition to leading the program, the Site Director works on-site during midday hours to handle administrative responsibilities like family communication, staffing, program building, and compliance. You'll have flexibility in structuring that midday time around business needs.
$750 Bonus paid at 100 days
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of childcare educators
- Create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids feel supported and excited to learn
- Implement our proven curriculum and tailor activities to each child's needs
- Build relationships with families, school staff and the wider community
- Manage enrollment, scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day program operations
- Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing regulations and health & safety standards
- Be a positive role model for children in grades K–6 every day
