All Valley Innovations Group (AVIG) is seeking hardworking and dependable Construction Laborers to join our growing team. Construction Laborers play a vital role in supporting heavy equipment operators and utility crews by assisting with site preparation, underground utility installation, road construction, drainage improvements, and general labor tasks. We are looking for team members who value safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, and general earthwork.
- Perform hand digging, trenching, and backfilling around underground utilities.
- Assist with the installation of water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and other utility systems.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate hand tools and small power equipment safely and efficiently.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices, barricades, and safety signage.
- Clean and organize job sites to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Assist equipment operators, pipe crews, and foremen with daily construction activities.
- Help with concrete work, asphalt preparation, and roadway construction as needed.
- Follow grade stakes and directions from supervisors to ensure work is completed accurately.
- Perform daily tasks while following OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or project concerns to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred (not required).
- Experience in civil construction, land development, underground utilities, or roadway construction is a plus.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
