SECURITY GUARD
Job Description: Logan Valley Mall is looking for a Security Guard.
The successful candidate will report to, and assist the Mall Security Manager in providing preventative security and emergency response to mall facilities, employees, visitors and property. Under the guidance and supervision of the Mall Security Manager, duties will include assistance in:
Responsibilities:
- Securing premises and protecting personnel by patrolling the property
- Observing for signs of crime and disorder
- Preventing losses and damages, by detecting and reporting irregularities
- Obtaining assistance from the proper authorities in case of police, fire or medical emergencies
- Expelling trespassers and violators from the property
Skills:
- Physical condition to perform routine and/or heavy manual tasks
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. in weight, and walk great distances
- Ability to safely use standard security equipment and tools
- Ability to legally drive company-owned vehicles, with acceptable insurability
- Willingness to work 28-40 hours weekly
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- High School Diploma or GED, or minimum of two (2) years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Background check and pre-employment drug screening required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.25 per hour
