Smith Security Safes is looking to hire someone in a Fabricator/Welder Flex position to work within our fabrication facility in Weston, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding vault doors and safes. Areas of focus for this position may include:
Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Organization, Quality Control, Misc. Material Processing

Smith Security Safes is a company located near Bowling Green, Ohio providing vault doors and safes to customers around the nation.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the basic principles of metal fabrication and welding.
- Utilize hand and power tools to construct metal products.
- Use measuring instruments to lay out work pieces and align pieces for welding.
- Render accurate physical dimensions and tolerances using basic math.
- Demonstrate knowledge of metal fabrication & welding techniques.
- Be responsible for your own quality and workmanship.
- Willingness to cross-train throughout various departments as needed (Flex-Role)

- Listed pay is starting pay. Hourly wage can increase with proven experience, dependability, trainability and good attitude.
The ideal candidate would possess a diverse skill set and be able to safely follow directions with attention to detail. Material handling skills (crane & forklift), basic welding and ability to operate hand & power tools are required in this position. Ability to support multiple departments (as needed).

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
