About the Role
We are a manufacturer of industrial safety and instrumentation equipment seeking a hands-on Production Lead to support daily manufacturing execution, production coordination, and shipment readiness in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for helping drive production flow, coordinating priorities across departments, resolving manufacturing bottlenecks, and ensuring customer orders move efficiently through assembly, testing, and shipping. The role requires strong organization, urgency, and the ability to manage changing production priorities across multiple product lines and customer projects. This is an active production-floor role requiring close coordination with manufacturing, testing, engineering, purchasing, logistics, and operations teams.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and oversee daily production activities and manufacturing priorities
- Help ensure customer orders are completed and shipped according to schedule
- Track shortages, production blockers, material availability, and work order status
- Coordinate activities between production, testing, engineering, purchasing, and shipping teams
- Support production planning and workflow organization
- Monitor manufacturing progress and help resolve operational bottlenecks
- Assist with scheduling priorities based on shipment commitments and material availability
- Maintain production organization, accountability, and operational visibility
- Support onboarding and guidance of production personnel
- Participate in daily production and operations meetings

- Production schedules and daily priorities are coordinated smoothly
- Customer orders are completed and shipped on time
- Production delays and bottlenecks are identified and resolved quickly
- Materials, work orders, and inventory are tracked accurately
- Communication between production, testing, engineering, purchasing, and shipping teams remains clear and organized
- Manufacturing workflow stays organized despite changing priorities
- Production personnel receive proper support and guidance during daily operations
- Work area and production floor remain organized, efficient, and operationally visible
Requirements
- 3+ years of manufacturing, production coordination, or production leadership experience
- Experience working in electronics, industrial equipment, instrumentation, electromechanical, or industrial manufacturing environments
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing production schedules
- Comfortable working directly with production personnel and cross-functional teams
- Experience with ERP systems, work orders, inventory tracking, or production scheduling preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work on-site in Santa Clara, CA

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
