Treatment Coordinator / Front Office Coordinator

Pay: $24.00–$35.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
Oaks Dental Group is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as a Treatment Coordinator / Front Office Coordinator. We are a patient-focused dental practice committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
This is an in-person position working approximately 32 hours per week.
About the Role
The Treatment Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in creating a positive experience from the moment a patient calls or walks through our doors. This position combines front office responsibilities with treatment coordination, insurance administration, and day-to-day office operations.
While prior dental experience is appreciated, it is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who possesses strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help people.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Present and discuss treatment plans with patients
- Verify dental insurance benefits and explain coverage information
- Coordinate patient financing and payment arrangements
- Work with our insurance support team (E-Assist) to ensure claims are processed appropriately
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and financial arrangements
- Assist with administrative and office management tasks as needed
- Help maintain an efficient, organized, and positive office environment
Software and Systems
- Open Dental practice management software
- E-Assist insurance claims management platform
Experience with either system is a plus but not required.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable learning new software and technology
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Customer service experience preferred
- Dental office experience preferred but not required
