MBRC’s Fatherhood First Partnership (FFP) is a new five-year federally funded program dedicated to strengthening families by supporting fathers, individuals, and couples in Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Scott counties.
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and community-minded Case Manager who is passionate about helping families succeed. If you enjoy working with people, building relationships, mentoring others, and making a positive impact in your community, we encourage you to apply. Some college courses helpful but degree is not required.
Training and ongoing support will be provided.
Position Summary
The Case Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to engage fathers and families through case management, mentoring, parenting education, employment readiness services, and community outreach. This position plays an important role in helping participants access resources, achieve personal goals, and build stronger family relationships.
What You’ll Do
· Build positive relationships with fathers, individuals, and couples participating in the program.
· Recruit participants through community outreach and partnerships.
· Develop participant service plans and connect individuals to community resources.
· Support and facilitate parenting classes, workshops, mentoring activities, and peer-led discussions.
· Coordinate services and referrals across multiple counties.
· Maintain participant records and documentation.
· Collaborate with community organizations, faith-based groups, and service providers.
· Encourage participant engagement and support their progress toward personal and family goals.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of service delivery.
Qualifications
We value experience, passion, and people skills.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· College coursework or a degree is helpful but not required.
· Experience working with families, youth, fathers, mentoring programs, social services, education, customer service, healthcare, ministry, coaching, or community organizations is preferred.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
· Comfortable speaking with individuals and small groups.
· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
· Community outreach and participant engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working with fathers, couples, or family-centered programs.
· Knowledge of the communities served in Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Scott counties.
· Experience building partnerships with community organizations and local stakeholders.
