Project Manager – Engineering Focus
Role Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager with professional engineering experience to coordinate and manage industrial racking projects within data center environments. The ideal candidate has previously worked in an engineering role involving technical drawings, engineering specifications, design documentation, or similar technical work, and can apply that experience to project execution and problem-solving.
The role requires an understanding of product engineering specifications and the ability to translate technical information into practical solutions for project and field teams. Work is performed primarily remotely in a fast-changing environment where requirements and priorities may evolve, requiring adaptability, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling using AutoCAD, Revit or other related tools
- Develop a strong understanding of product engineering designs to address and resolve technical questions and issues
- Interpret structural drawings and engineering documentation and translate technical information into clear, actionable direction
- Coordinate activities and communication between internal teams, customers, external partners, installation teams, and international manufacturing personnel
- Develop, maintain, and adapt project plans, schedules, and deliverables based on changing requirements and constraints
- Coordinate material logistics to support on-time delivery and installation schedules
- Drive resolution of project issues and ensure execution meets quality, timeline, and performance expectations
- Provide clear, timely, and professional communication to customers and project stakeholders
- Work primarily remotely, with occasional travel as required
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
