Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role combines the essential responsibilities of safely delivering products to customers and efficiently managing warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and committed to providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety standards. You will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries, proper handling of goods, and smooth warehouse functions, all while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment, ensuring safe lifting practices.
- Deliver products to customers’ locations promptly, following designated routes and schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by addressing questions or concerns professionally.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting, weight handling in the workplace, and equipment operation to prevent injuries.
- Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and complete, including logs for inbound/outbound shipments.
Skills
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in manual handling, load & unload procedures, and equipment operation.
- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating a box truck or similar vehicle.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and safety standards.
- Experience with route driving, courier services, or delivery driver roles emphasizing punctuality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently while following safe lifting practices.
