Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Staffing Sales & Recruiting Representative to support business development and recruiting efforts in the Savannah, Georgia market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, prospecting new business, and working directly with both clients and candidates. The position requires in-person prospecting, cold calling, and closing new accounts through face-to-face and virtual meetings. You will also be responsible for recruiting and placing talent for the clients you bring on.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person prospecting and cold calling to develop new client relationships
- Identify staffing needs and present customized workforce solutions
- Schedule and lead in-person and virtual sales meetings with decision-makers
- Negotiate terms and close new business opportunities
- Recruit, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates for assigned clients
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Track sales and recruiting activity accurately within internal systems
- Represent Optimum Personnel Services professionally in the local market
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in staffing, sales, recruiting, or business development preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with cold calling, in-person outreach, and relationship building
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with basic computer systems and CRM or ATS platforms
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Savannah area
