Position Overview
Dennaoui, Inc. is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development/Customer Relations to support the company’s continued growth across all of Florida.
This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new commercial construction opportunities while strengthening relationships with general contractors, developers, and key industry partners. The ideal candidate understands the construction lifecycle and thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
Dennaoui specializes in the following scopes:
- Insulation
- Fireproofing/Firestopping
- Waterproofing
- Caulking / Sealants
- Expansion Joint Systems
- Protective Coatings
Target Markets
The Business Development team member will focus on expanding opportunities within:
- Commercial Construction
- Multi-Family & Mixed-Use Developments
- Hospitality (Hotels & Resorts)
- Healthcare Facilities
- Educational Institutions
- Public / Government Projects
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Business Development & Sales
- Prospect, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities with general contractors, developers, and owners
- Build and maintain strong relationships within all of Florida construction market
- Identify upcoming projects through platforms such as Dodge Construction Network, industry contacts, and preconstruction pipelines
- Position Dennaoui early in the bidding process to increase award probability
Preconstruction & Estimating Coordination
- Coordinate with internal estimators and project managers to ensure timely and competitive proposals
- Assist in reviewing bid strategies, scope alignment, and proposal positioning
- Support preconstruction efforts, including scope clarification and value engineering discussions
Client Relationship Management
- Develop long-term partnerships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Schedule and attend meetings, job walks, and preconstruction meetings with clients
- Maintain consistent follow-up with clients throughout the bid and award process
- Conduct post-bid and post-project follow-ups to strengthen relationships
Strategic Growth & Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming opportunities
- Attend industry events, trade associations, and networking functions
- Provide feedback to leadership on market conditions and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives
Internal Collaboration & CRM Management
- Work closely with operations, estimating, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on project pursuits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company CRM
- Track pipeline activity, bid results, and sales performance metrics
- Assist with forecasting monthly and annual revenue goals
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM systems and bid tracking tools
Licenses & Work Requirements
- Valid Florida Driver’s License (Required)
- Ability to travel for meetings, job walks, and industry events
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
