Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and diligent Livestock Tender/Carry Out to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the care, management, and movement of livestock across various store operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure the health and safety of animals while maintaining efficient workflows.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning animal pens, feeding, watering, and caring for animals to promote optimal health and growth
- Monitor animal conditions closely, report health concerns promptly, and assist with basic veterinary procedures when needed
- Maintain detailed records of livestock movements, feeding schedules, health treatments, and equipment maintenance
- Assist customers with carryouts of merchandise and heavy or bulky purchases
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in farm or livestock environments preferred
- Strong animal husbandry skills with a focus on animal care and handling techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with farming practices related to agriculture or horticulture environments
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to teamwork and safety compliance
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
