About the Role
Are you a morning person who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment? Calypso is looking for a reliable, upbeat Breakfast Server to kickstart our guests' mornings!
Our breakfast service runs from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Because our breakfast service flows directly into lunch, you have the unique ability to flip over to a lunch server shift, giving you excellent flexibility and the opportunity to maximize your hours.
The Off-Season Bonus: We keep our team taken care of year-round. When the seasonal rush slows down, you have the unique ability to transition into shifts at Hair of the Dog, keeping your hours steady and stable through the off-season.
Key Responsibilities
- The Early Bird Special: Arrive ready for a 6:30 AM sharp opening to set up the dining area, brew fresh coffee, and welcome our first guests of the day.
- Top-Tier Service: Take accurate food and beverage orders, deliver hot breakfast items promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction with a friendly, high-energy attitude.
- The Mid-Morning Flip: Efficiently assist in transitioning the dining room from breakfast to lunch service at 10:30 AM.
- Off-Season Adaptability: Be willing to cross-train and smoothly adapt to sister-location menus and standards at Hair of the Dog during the off-season months.
- Side Work & Standards: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked server station. Handle payments accurately using our POS system.
What We Are Looking For
- Reliability is Key: Since the shift starts at 6:30 AM, punctuality is required.
- Adaptability: Someone who can handle the fast-paced transition from a cozy breakfast vibe to a bustling lunch crowd, and enjoys the variety of working between Calypso and Hair of the Dog.
- Experience: Previous serving experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are what we value most.
