We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to oversee our bakery operations. As the Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring product quality, maintaining inventory control, and leading a team of skilled bakers and staff.
Duties
- Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
- Train, develop, and supervise bakery staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Implement effective staff training programs focusing on food preparation techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial planning for the bakery department.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor product quality and presentation to meet the expectations of fine dining and casual dining experiences.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a bakery or restaurant setting.
- Strong background in culinary arts with experience in food production, cooking, and food handling.
- Demonstrated ability in team management, including supervising staff and conducting interviews.
- Experience with shift management in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting within the food industry.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of catering operations and banquet experience is advantageous.
