Provide instruction by which students develop artistic concepts of appreciations and the ability to make observational judgments about art
Apply elements of design and modern principles of art
Work with different art mediums and tools and choose the best for appropriate age group
Apply art techniques showing step by step how to illustrate
Evaluates each student’s performance and growth of knowledge relating to instructional lessons prepared
Maintain a positive, respectful, and orderly classroom environment that reflects Christian values
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and personal expression in students' artwork
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of art materials and supplies
Provide constructive feedback on student artwork and offer guidance on techniques and improvement
Evaluate student progress through assessments, projects, and portfolios
Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for students to express themselves artistically
Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administrators to support the school’s mission and educational goals
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required
Stay current with trends in art education and incorporate best practices into lessons
Plans and presents student’s artwork to exhibit throughout our campus to inspire artistic interest
