Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender with a valid work permit to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster customer loyalty
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing orders efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience
- Restock bar supplies regularly, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods effectively while upholding high standards of hospitality
Requirements
- Valid work permit to legally work as a bartender in the hospitality industry
- Proven experience in bartending, preferably within fine dining or upscale restaurant settings
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktail creation, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales and cash handling
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Experience in food handling, beverage recipe development, and food safety protocols
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order processing
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
