Now Hiring: In-Home Support and Direct Support Professional (DSP/IHS)
Location: Twin Cities (In-Person) – Currently hiring to serve clients in Saint Paul
Pay: $22/hour
Job Type: Part-time (Full-time unavailable)
Schedule: Day shifts, up to 12 flexible hours per week (availability depends on client needs and employee availability)
About the Role
Provide one-on-one support to individuals with mental, physical, or special healthcare needs. You will assist clients with daily activities, community outings, grocery shopping, and more to help them live independently and with dignity.

Certificates, Licensure, and Registration
- United States citizenship or proof of a valid U.S. work permit
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance (vehicle must be owned by the employee)
- Ability to pass a background check as required by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including but not limited to the Vulnerable Adult Act, Vulnerable Minors Act, and HIPAA requirements
- Support clients in their homes and communities with daily living activities
- Encourage independence and support personal goals
- Maintain client safety, dignity, and rights
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, including electronic timesheets and service logs
- Communicate effectively with care team members and family members
Qualifications
Required
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a vehicle registered in your name
- Ability to pass a DHS background study
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Physically able to assist clients and lift up to 75 pounds
Preferred
- Training or experience in personal care, home health, or a related field
- Completion of Individualized Home Supports (IHS) training, CNA certification, or equivalent training
- One or more years of experience providing home- or community-based supports
