Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Scoliosis Therapy Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting adolescent patients undergoing specialized treatment for scoliosis and related spinal conditions.

Duties
- Assist in delivering scoliosis-specific therapy programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies to facilitate efficient therapy sessions
- Monitor patient responses during therapy, documenting progress and any concerns accurately in medical records
- Educate patients on exercises and proper body mechanics to promote ongoing spinal health
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical histories and explaining treatment plans clearly
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and hospital protocols
- Build and maintain custom medical devices
- Foster an environment of healing for our patients and families that travel from across the world for leading scoliosis care
Skills
- This is a primarily an entry-level position. We will provide training necessary to perform your job at a high level.
- Experience working with, teaching, and motivating kids age 7-14.
- Strong background in patient service with a focus on compassionate care and effective communication
- Experience practicing in fitness training, physical therapy, or rehabilitation role is preferred
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to orthopedics and spinal conditions is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating attention to detail and professionalism
