The Company:
Family owned and operated athletic business in Massachusetts is looking for a dependable, long-term employee to assist with the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and administration of the 85,000 sf facility it operates. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the candidate will perform a wide variety of duties related to club maintenance to ensure that the club consistently meets the club’s standards for functionality, cleanliness, and safety
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Maintains the physical functionality of facility. Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including basic carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, and masonry. Inspects all key components of the campus on a daily basis: locker rooms, bathrooms, fitness and group exercise areas, tennis courts, outdoor facilities, parking lots, lobby area, and office areas, for needed and preventive maintenance. Records and reports completed repairs and items that need further attention or that require placing a room 'out of order.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain grounds in impeccable condition at all times (litter and debris control, custodial work, basic landscaping, interior athletic venues, indoor/outdoor facilities.)
· Preserve all indoor and outdoor facilities and keep them in optimal condition
- Maintain the structural and aesthetic integrity of the complex
- Provide excellent customer service (providing information and directions, enforcing regulations compliance, etc.)
- Prepare facility for special events and tournaments rentals (this includes set up and take down of any equipment) Provide leadership for professional staff overseeing day to day facility maintenance equipment repair.
- Perform preventative maintenance in and around facilities
- Complete cleanliness inspections (walk-through) on a daily basis
- Report to the Facilities Director daily regarding open tasks
- Ensure adequate inventory of maintenance and locker room supplies
- Oversee/engage in cleaning of tennis courts 3-5 times per week
- Be aware and knowledgeable and implement all emergency procedures when necessary
- Ensure high level of customer service
- Perform all other projects and responsibilities as required
- Attend and be prepared to participate in required meetings
Should have knowledge or experience on operating light to medium construction equipment; forklifts, lawn mowers, snow blowers and utility vehicles. Must have valid Massachusetts’s driver’s licenses. Must have the ability to effectively interact with people at a variety of levels within and outside the campus. Individual must demonstrate initiative and positive working attitude and be able to work unsupervised. Candidate, must be able to work overtime during the week and weekends as required including non-traditional workdays and holidays. must be able to respond to emergency situations on a twenty-four-(24) hour basis. Must have Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS standards The position workweek may change seasonally or by the business need, so schedule flexibility is required. Three or more years of supervisory experience

- The skills to perform "handyman" tasks such as painting, minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing projects, general maintenance, etc.

- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3-5 years previous experience planning and executing large, high-profile events in an arena environment required
- Experience and knowledge in operation with current OSHA standards
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
