We are seeking a R&D Laboratory Support Technologist to support our Calibration & Maintenance Team. This individual will perform Calibration and Maintenance of equipment but also perform a variety of duties in support of technical activities related to equipment lifecycle management and associated infrastructure in Center 7500. These include supporting instrumentation, process mechanics, computer and PLC applications, testing and troubleshooting of systems including building or modifying systems, and data collection and analysis. It includes managing high volume of variable requests from equipment owners, lab owners, and building residents.
On any given day, you may be called on to:

Execute calibrations and maintenance on a variety of equipment such as ovens, furnaces, temperature chambers, vacuum systems, welders, laser markers, part-cleaning systems, and production testers.

Troubleshoot and repair all types of production equipment including PLC control systems, computer hardware, and related sub-components.

Run a variety of equipment and collect, analyze data

Review, revise, and back up computer software including Windows OS, LabVIEW, and various PLC software applications.

Interface extensively with our Center customers and provide them with strong technical support and frequent communication of status.

Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work on-site.
